You're rooting for the home team -- soccer, baseball, football, hockey, rugby...it doesn't make a difference. Halfway through the game, your voice gives out, and suddenly, the best you can do is croak like an anemic frog. Here's how to scream, yell and cheer the entire game, and be kind to your throat at the same time.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Every ten minutes or so, take a quiet break (at least, a *relatively* quiet break).

  2. Step 2

Save shouting for the real action, and relax during breaks in the game.

  3. Step 3

Vary the pitch and intensity of your screaming. Every now and then, push yourself into a slightly lower and slightly higher range than normal, as a way of changing the strain on your throat.

  4. Step 4

Drink liquids. Voice coaches actually recommend steering clear of alcohol and coffee. But how realistic is that?

Tips & Warnings
  • Just like the athletes themselves, you have to pace yourself. Save a bit of screaming energy for the end of the game.
