There are few events in a girls life more exciting than her wedding day. What better way to share in someone your love's excitment than to throw her a bridal shower! Here is a step by step guide to throwing a great shower for that special bride!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Set a date. Contact the bride and choose a date that she prefers (remember this is her day, chose a date that she prefers, not a date that works for everyone else)
Step2
Set a location. Again, this is up to the bride. If she has a preference. A restaurant or clubhouse is always nice or someone's home if it is going to be a smaller gathering.
Step3
Ask the bride for a list of guests and their addresses
Step4
send out invites about 2 1/2 or 3 weeks in advance.
Step5
Plan each step of the shower. Plan the food, the games, the gifts, and the cake. Make sure you don't over fill the shower with too many games and allow for plenty of visiting time for the guests.
Step6
Relax and enjoy the special day!

Tips & Warnings

  • recruit plenty of help for each area of the shower. Have a food prep. crew, a separate crew for serving, and another for clean up.
  • Don't over due.
  • Plan, plan, plan.
  • make lists and stick to them
  • make a firm budget and stick to it
  • Enjoy yourself!
