This is such a fun idea and you can make really good money with this. It requires no upfront investment and you'll never have a problem finding people wanting to 'get paid to drive'!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
This is a great form of advertising business to start for many reasons. It can easily be done from home, there is no investment to get started (advertiser pays for ad decals), you'll never be short on drivers willing to get paid to drive, and once the idea catches on, there will always be clients. The first step in getting this idea off the ground is to determine what types of ads/decals you will be using. Start by contacting local sign companies and research decal companies online.
Step2
When contacting these companies, you will need to get information not only on price, but also all the available sizes, and more importantly, quality. This business will require high-quality decals so they maintain a professional appearance. The type of decal used should be the heavy-duty magnetic signs that can be placed and removed easily, but are strong enough to stay on vehicles in any type of environment.
Step3
Once you have an idea of the available options and pricing, you need to determine what you are willing to pay drivers, this is important because it will be added into the final advertisers cost. This is going to depend on the size of the sign, length of time it will be placed, among other factors.
Step4
From here, I recommend contacting potential advertisers before interviewing drivers. The reason I recommend doing it this way is because I have had an advertising business for along time, and things do not always go as planned. With many of my projects, price changes were made AFTER the program was launched, meaning I ended up paying my sales team more than I was making because I had to lower my prices. So keep that in mind. Consider using your own car for the first few advertisers until you get all the 'bugs' worked out.
Step5
When interviewing drivers, there are many considerations. You'll need to know how many miles they driver per day, where they are driving, where they park the car (high visibility or in a parking garage), as well as the condition of the vehicle. All of these factors will play a role in how much an advertiser will be willing to spend.
Step6
This is an extremely brief overview of this type of business, it would take an entire ebook to cover all of the details. If this sounds like a great business for you, start by doing research on other companies that offer 'get paid to drive' programs. Check their pricing, how payment is made, terms, etc. to give you an idea of what you'll need to get started.
