How to get kids 10 and under to sleep at a slumber party

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • prizes, pen, paper, plastic eggs

Step1
getting kids to bed at a slumber party can be challenging. Here is an idea that has worked, but only up until about age 10.
Step2
Tell the kids they have to go to bed at (designated time, later than their normal bedtime, but reasonable for you). That way both are happy.
Step3
Tell kids you are going to have either a scavenger hunt or a Prize find.
Step4
Set up either a scavenger hunt in the home or take used plastic easter eggs and fill with candy or small prizes.
Step5
Make sure there is enough small prizes that everyone can get a few.
Step6
They will be excited to go to bed as they have something to look forward to in the morning.
Step7
If all else fails, bribery with donuts in the morning has also showed to be beneficial.
