I grew up on this sweet treat from the south! I always thought it was something that everyone ate! when I learned that most folks had never heard of it..(Gasp can it be true?). Please indulge yourself on a true southern delicacy! it is used for everything from cake frosting ,sweet potato glaze,add it to Blondie fudge!...the list goes on!!Enjoy!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • sweet tooth! your favorite brand of peanut butter
  • syrup (the kind you like)(maple ,Karo,chocolate!
  • table spoon
  • large coffee cup(or small bowl)cloth for wiping the grin off your face!

Step1
this is basic recipe
makes about two servings( I eat this as a late night comfort snack!)
mix one large tablespoon peanut butter and three table spoons syrup in a bowl until smooth and creamy !
Step2
spread on toast,bread,pancakes
use as a frosting alternative,
great as a glaze for sweet potatoes
or( my favorite straight from the bowl)!
Step3
eat and enjoy!

  • bring your sweet tooth!!
  • caution! highly addictive!
  • please don't try if you have allergies to peanuts.not for diabetics!
