There are several effective ways to find used hotel beds. Most of these beds are still in great condition and can be purchased at a great discount.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • A tepephone
  • Email
  • phone book
  • a little information on what you are looking for
  • and to read this article :)

Step1
First, you can obtain a list of local hotels in the area by simply going to yellowpages.com and typing in your city or a large city near by. This will give you a lot of local hotels and their contact information.
Step2
You can contact many hotels at once via Email. Go to the hotel website and get their contact information and save it in your contact list in your Email box
Step3
Email the hotel chain asking them if they are upgrading their beds and if they would be willing to sell you X number of beds at X price per bed. If they are not, leave your contact info and ask them to contact you or ask them if they have a set date as to when they do their upgrades.

Tips & Warnings

  • you will get a better response by telephone although with Email you can contact several hotels at once.
  • If you contact more than one hotel, be sure to "blind carbon copy" all the hotels so that each hotel doesn't see all the information you are sending to multiple addresses.
  • Be as specific as possible with how many beds and your price you wish to obtain the beds for
  • make sure to ask questions about the age of the mattress ect...before committing to buy.
  • Do not give credit card information over the computer or phone, it is better to use a service like PayPal or to do the transaction in person.
  • Always be polite even if you get a "no" because you don't want to burn any bridges for the future.

on 8/15/2008 Why don't you just go to the land fill. They are just as clean there. 75% of hotel rooms, even the 5 star ones, have bedbug problems. That's why they won't sell to you because of liability problems.
