How to find government grants

Ever type in funds or grants in the search bar? Sure you have. Thousands and thousands of pages stating get grants here only to find out that you have to pay them for the info.

• What you need is an internet connection, and the knowledge that you do NOT have to pay someone to find these grants!

1. Simply go to the following link and there you will find information from our government on how to apply for grants, student loans and everything else you may be asking about as far as these subjects go.

2. In the search box type in "grants" This will give you many sources for grants and they are through the government and are FREE.

3. There will be many links, stay in the usa.gov links, anything else is probably someone trying to sell you free info.

Tips & Warnings

• You can surf the usa.gov site for FAQs and this will also be very helpful
• NOTE: I did this myself and did not have any trouble, I found everything I needed and I did not have to pay a dime to anyone for the information.

on 1/22/2009 There are a few other free government based sites out there but you are right, never pay for grant information.
