For a busy household, this is great when served with veggies or a salad. Just stick it in the refrigerator to marinade while you're at work and cook it when you get home!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1-1 1/2 lb flank steak
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup teriaki sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Worchestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • pinch cayenne pepper
  • dash hot sauce

Step1
Combine all ingredients except the steak.
Step2
Place the steak in a gallon-sized freezer bag and pour in the marinade, reserving 1/4 cup for later. Close the bag tightly and shake gently. Stick this in the refrigerator for up to 24hrs, but for at least 4.
Step3
Remove steak from the bag, discarding the marinade.
Step4
Grill, covered on medium, until desired doneness is reached, basting twice with the reserved 1/4 cup marinade.
Step5
Slice into thin slices against the grain before serving.
