Here is a family favorite recipe for Quiche Lorraine.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pastry (mix or scratch)
  • bacon
  • Swiss cheese
  • eggs
  • chives
  • milk
  • salt
  • pepper
  1. Step 1

    Roll pastry into 3 1/4 inch circles and line 2 1/2 inch tart shells.

  2. Step 2

    Combine 8 fried, drained bacon slices, 1 cup grated Swiss cheese, 3 large eggs, 2 1/4 tbsp chives, 3/4 cup whole milk, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp pepper in blender. Blend until ingredients are all well mixed. Fill tart shells 3/4 full.

  3. Step 3

    Bake in oven at 375 for about 15 to 18 minutes (until Quiche is lightly browned and firm). Makes about 25.
