If you are planning on engaging in oral sex (including kissing), you'll want your mouth to be clean and nice-smelling. If your date includes dinner, slip a toothbrush into your purse. You can always duck into the bathroom after the meal. Your partner will appreciate the extra effort.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Tooth brush
  • Tooth paste
  • Floss
  • Mouthwash

Step1
Brush your teeth thoroughly with a soft bristle. Use a nice minty toothpaste. People rarely object to the smell of mint, and it will give your mouth a fresh, cool taste. Do not brush hard, especially if you have sensitive gums or bleed easily. You do not want to open any blood vessels, as that makes it easier to contract blood-borne diseases.
Step2
Brush the top of your tongue. This helps a lot in creating a fresh-smelling mouth and adds to the health of your tongue in general.
Step3
If you can, and if you are confident that it won't cause any bleeding, go ahead and floss. If not, don't worry too much about it. Just check quickly in the mirror to make sure you don't have anything stuck between your teeth.
Step4
Rinse your mouth with mouthwash (especially one that, like Listerine, that kills germs). If you don't have mouthwash available, just swish the toothpaste around your mouth a little before spitting.
