Find out how to, eliminate detergent stains on your clothes.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • bar soap
  1. Step 1

If you are using a powder detergent, you might want to change to a liquid. Especially if your washer is a little on the older side.
If you already are using liquid detergent, it might be the softner causing your issues.

  2. Step 2

Always, add detergent to the water before you add your clothes, let the water swish around for a minute or two, also. If the softener is your culprit, you can rub bar soap, or dish liquid directly to the stain, and let sit for about 20 minutes, and rewash without any detergent. To avoid softener stains, dilute it before adding to your wash.

  3. Step 3
