Acne prevention products are very expensive. (think Jessica Simpson) In these troubling times, you need to save money. This formula works.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Here is the best, almost free acne prevention facial formula you'll find anywhere to keep your face smooth, pimple-free, and nice to touch.
There are only three ingredients, and if you have or could make a garden, the cost would be zero, zip, nada after you buy or plant these two ingredients - Goldenseal and Basil.
Step2
Goldenseal has some antibacterial properties and basil has been shown to be very effective against facial acne. And if you haven't been in a herb shop or health food store, this is where you can buy the basil leaves and goldenseal root or even get the seeds to plant and grow your own. Here is what you'll need: 1 cup of water, 1 teaspoon powdered basil leaves, 1 teaspoon powdered goldenseal root.
Step3
You'll also need a saucepan and washcloth. Bring water to a boil in the saucepan. Add basil and goldenseal. Turn heat off and let it steep for about 15 minutes. To open facial pores, apply a warm to hot washcloth to your face. Then dip the cloth in the basil/goldenseal mix and apply generously. After several applications, rinse with cool water. That's it.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can do this routine immediately after taking a hot shower, but make sure the basil/goldenseal fusion is ready to go as soon as you step out of the shower so you can apply.
  • Note: If a rash or unusual irritation develops, discontinue use.
