Some reasons that make our days stressful, is working too much, financial situations and family obligations. In short the overall economic crisis keeps us aggravated to some degree, but it should not limit our happiness… We have to find a way to give back to our self, with a refreshing reward. I like to use my Saturday or Sunday afternoon to ‘pamper’ my self with an old fashion facial. Doing it at home, I can relax in the comfort of my personal surroundings and dress as casual as I want. This way I can restore my inner strength and bring back the youthful appearance of my body while regenerating the beauty features of my face.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1 whole egg
  • kleenex Tissues
  • 2 Hand towels/ face cloths
  • 8 -10 inch Pot
  • Small bowl
  • Mint leaves
  • Candle

Step1
Cut kleenex tissues in 1.5 inch squares. Break eggs, separate the yellows.

Cleaner Cream to open the pores, massage gently and slowly in circles 5 – 7 minutes.
Step2
Wash your face with clean cotton balls or Kleenex tissue.
Wash face with warm water. Dry with soft hand towel/face cloth.
Step3
Using a soft brush, dip into egg whites, paint the face slowly and gently from the center to the chin, then right and left of cheeks, always in the same direction. Do that twice or enough to make a thick egg mask.
Step4
Soak some Kleenex tissues in the egg whites and lay them on your face in the egg you just brushed on. This makes an egg mask. Light the candle and lie down for 5 – 10 minutes until you feel your face drawing tight. Optional,..( while waiting for the drying process, you can do other things if you like)
Step5
When completely dry, peel off the egg mask slowly, and wash face with tepid water. Dry with face cloth slowly.
Step6
Pour water into a pot, cover with a lid. Heat until boiling. When steamy, add mint leaves. Remove from the stove. Very carefully move your face slowly just above the steam over the pot. This is a two fold action which moisturizes and cleans the pores. Do this until stem is gone.
Step7
Pour hot water into a bolw, add cool water into, and soak the face cloth in the warm water. Remove and squeeze out most of the water and spread on your face. Lie down for 5-10 minutes or more ( if you like) then use moisturizer for day or night lotions depending.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not use ‘steamy hot pot’ with young children near by. It may cause burning from hot water.
