The best way to preserve any bra is to handwash it, but sometimes this doesn't do a thorough job of cleaning, and most of the time you don't have the time to do it anyway! Here are some tips to get them fresh again!
Spray any sweat stains with a little prewash spray.
Step2
Hook the bra together and twist the bra in the middle so one cup is tucked into the other.
Step3
Place one bra in each side of a bra bag.
Step4
Pour 2-3 capfuls of baby shampoo (or use the recommended amount of Woolite, if you prefer) into your washer. Use the gentlest and shortest cycle available on your machine.
Step5
After the cycle is done, remove the bras from the bags, unhook them, and lay them flat to dry. I lay them on the top of the dryer because it is warm, but not hot, and helps them dry faster.
Tips & Warnings
Tide Bra Bags can be purchased online or at many retail stores. Each bra bag holds two bras and costs around $4, although I sometimes stack two in one side if I don't have enough room.
Baby shampoo is an inexpensive alternative to keep bras clean and smelling nice.
Certain bras should never be machine washed; check your label carefully for specific instructions.

on 4/28/2008 Hand washing is a pain and you can still get marks that won't come out. This sounds a lot better! Thanks so much!

on 4/27/2008 I had no idea about bra bags. I'll have to get some of them!! I'm tired of having to throw my bras away because my washer eats them.
