How to Make a Mother’s Day Apple Pie

Mother’s Day is a traditional holiday that has been celebrated all throughout history. This is the day in which we take time out to tell all moms just how much we appreciate and love them. What better way to celebrate than to create a Mother’s Day Apple Pie? Here, you will discover how!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Approximately 5 cups of apples that are sliced
  • Pie Crust: Unbaked Double
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp of flour that is all purpose
  • 2 tsp of spice that is designed for apple pies
  • Whipped cream

Step1
1. First, you will want to ensure that children are not left unsupervised in the kitchen.
Step2
2. Next, you should set the oven to about 400 degrees.
Step3
3. Now, take a pan that is appropriate for the oven, and place the pie crust in it.
Step4
4. Combine and mix the sugar, apple slices, lemon juice, and flour in a bowl. You will also want to take the apple pie seasoning and combine it with the mix at this point.
Step5
5. Once the mix is ready, take it and put it in the pie crust. Next, you will want to add a tad of butter.
Step6
6. Place everything else in, and take a fork to design the top layer of crust.
Step7
7. Now, bake until golden brown. Let stand, cut, add whipped cream and serve!
