How to roast a chicken

Roasting a chicken is as easy as one, two, three.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 to 4 pound chicken
  • salt and pepper
  • butter
  • cooking spray
  1. Step 1

    Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Spray a roasting pan with cooking spray.

  2. Step 2

    Next rinse your chicken and remove any thing from the cavitiy.

  3. Step 3

    Once rinse, salt and pepper both inside and outside of the chicken. At this time also rub some butter on the outside and place pads of butter in between skin and meat.

  4. Step 4

    Place chicken into roasting pan and cook anywhere from 90 minutes to 2 hours until the temperture at the thickest point is 165 degrees.
