How to Teach a dog to Come

Here is an easy way to teach your dog the command come.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• dog
• 8 foot lease
• treats

1. Attach the leash to your dogs collar.

2. Tell your dog to stay/wait and take a couple of steps away from your dog and turn to face your dog.

3. While telling your dog to come, gently tug on the leash. Once dog in by you have them sit in front of you. Praise and treat.

Tips & Warnings

• Do this a few times in a row but no more than for 10 minutes.
• Once your dog does this from a couple of feet away then move farther away from your dog.
• Never have your dog off leash unless you know your dogs recall is 100%
