Things You’ll Need:
- Computer running Windows XP
Step1

Left mouse click on the Windows Start button to open.
Note:
The Start button is commonly located in the bottom left corner of your Windows XP Desktop.
Step2
My Computer Shortcut
Right mouse click on the My Computer Icon located in the Start Menu and select Properties from the list.
Note: Right clicking shows extended menu choices.
Step3
System Properties Window
You should now see your computer's System Properties window appear. Select the Advanced tab located at the top of this window.
Step4
Error Reporting Window
While in the Advanced tab Left mouse click on the Error Reporting button located in the bottom right of this window. This will bring up the Error Reporting window.
Step5
Disable Error Reporting
Next, while in the Error Reporting window left mouse click on the Disable error reporting radio button. Also remove the check mark from the "But notify me when critical errors occur" check box.
Step6
The final step is to left mouse click on the OK button located in the Error Reporting window. Congratulations, you will now no longer be interrupted by the pesky error reporting pop up.
