How to Shop Online Without a Credit Card

If you do not have a credit card, or do not want to use your credit card for shopping online, there are other ways you can pay for your purchases. The Internet is full of wonderful shopping sites and great deals can be had from online merchants.

  • When you shop online and pay for your purchase with a credit card, you are protected by the Buyer's Protection coverage on your credit card. The same is true of many, but not all debit cards. However, when you pay for an item with a check, that is equivalent to paying with cash. You have no protection if your purchase goes bad. Always buy from reputable online merchants only.
