Connect the DVD player to the amp. This is OUTPUT from the DVD player and INPUT to the amp. Connect the CD recorder to the amp-INPUT on the CD player and OUTPUT on the amp. Connect the speakers to the amp, per amp instructions. Plug all three devices into a power source and turn them on.

Set the amp to play music from the DVD player. You can test this by playing the music through the speakers; if it sounds distorted or is only coming from one side, check the wiring and correct. Set the DVD player to play the song you want to record and pause the DVD player at that spot.

4
Put the blank CD into the home CD recorder. Press RECORD on the CD recorder, them immediately start playing the DVD. When you are at the end of the area you would like to record, press STOP on the CD recorder first, then the DVD player. Repeat this same process for other recordings. Don't forget to finalize the CD, so it is playable in other devices.
