How to Make a Nose Smaller Without Plastic Surgery

If you hate your big nose but are terrified of going under the knife, there are ways to make it look smaller without actual surgery. Learn to strategically apply make-up, enhance your better features and minimize the size of your big nose (or at least make it look smaller).

Things You'll Need

• Foundation 2 shades darker than you typically wear
• Blending brush

Instructions

1. Apply foundation to create highlights and contours. Make your nose look smaller and wear a darker foundation. Choose a foundation that is 2 shades darker than what you typically wear.

2. Contour down the sides of your nose to make it look slightly smaller. Blend in your darker foundation with a blending brush or your finger tips. Carefully contour along both sides of your nose to decrease it's big appearance.

3. Touch a hint of color on the tip of your nose, if your nose is too long. This makes it look slightly shorter.

4. Sweep color around your nostrils and on the tip of your nose. This makes your nostrils look slightly more narrow.

5. Highlight your best features with your regular foundation to emphasize them. Draw attention to your nice cheek bones in order to draw attention away from your big nose. Always make your better features lighter and your weaker features darker.
