You can make your own facial care treatments using items you already have in your home. The result is beautiful skin and an equally healthy budget. Using natural products from your pantry may also help those who suffer with sensitive skin, or who react to the chemicals commonly used in commercial products.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Use yogurt as a natural facial cleanser. Yogurt removes makeup as well as the natural dirt and oils that accumulate on your skin each day.

  2. Step 2

Try cooked and cooled oatmeal to clean your face. If you add a little uncooked oatmeal, it'll work as an exfoliating cleanser.

  3. Step 3

Place cooked and cooled oatmeal on your face and allow it to dry to make your own facial mask. It also works as a natural moisturizer for your skin.

  4. Step 4

Make your own facial care treatment by mixing equal parts honey and olive oil with 2 parts distilled water. Apply the mixture to your skin and allow it to sit for a few minutes before you wipe it away with a clean cloth. This homemade facial care product cleans and moisturizes your skin.

  5. Step 5

Remove blackheads by mixing a paste of baking soda and water. Scrub your face with it gently and rinse with water.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you have sensitive skin or skin allergies, only try one recipe at a time to be sure you won't suffer a negative reaction.
