Instead of buying an expensive case for your iPod, you can make your own at home from paper. Your case will look cool and protect your iPod from dirt and debris. Besides paper, you'll need some tape to secure the case to the iPod.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Pick out a piece of decorative paper. You can use white paper, but thicker construction paper will last longer than standard writing paper. Cut the piece into a 6 x 6-inch square.
Step2
Put the iPod in the center of the paper. Fold the bottom of the paper over the top of the iPod. Mark the dials on the paper.
Step3
Cut out the markings you made to make the dial openings. You can then easily access the buttons to operate your iPod.
Step4
Align the pieces of paper around the iPod after you've made your cuts for the openings. Cut out an opening for the screen.
Step5
Secure the paper to the iPod with clear tape. You may want to use clear packing tape to ensure that the paper case does not easily fall off.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can add some decorative touches after wrapping your iPod in the paper case. Put on some stickers or draw some fun pictures and sayings on the outside.
  • To get the paper case off of the iPod, you'll have to remove it carefully with scissors. You can try to reuse it or discard the case and make a new one.
