If you have ever had someone try to kiss you without your consent, you might have found it hard to refuse without hurting the other person's feelings. If you want to refuse a kiss from your partner, use these easy tips to show you are not ready for the kiss.

From Quick Guide: Flirting Guide
Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Stop flirting. Flirting gives off the impression you want something further than just hand holding. Try not to give off the wrong signals.

  2. Step 2

Shake your head. Try not to pull away when your partner tries to kiss you. She will only be left feeling rejected and won't want to try to kiss you later on.

  3. Step 3

Be honest. Tell your partner that you are not ready to kiss yet and that you will let him know when you will be. Honesty is the best route in this situation.

  4. Step 4

Tell your partner that you don't like to kiss. If she tries anyways and don't abide by your wishes, she is not worthy of your time or kiss.

  5. Step 5

Be kind to your partner after you refuse the kiss. Let him know you still like him by hugging and holding hands. This way, your partner will not feel completely rejected.

  6. Step 6

Move away from your partner. Turn your head if necessary and explain you are not ready yet. If this person cares about you, then she will stop trying and wait for you to make the move.
