The joys of summer include lounging at the beach, tanning and summer loves. If it is beginning to get closer to summer, you may be itching to get a summer mate. There is such comfort in knowing that you could spend the summer frolicking in the waves, cozying on up in the hammock or gazing at the stars with a summer love. 1. Hit the beach with your friends and scope out the guys. If you see someone who looks interesting and attractive, get the nerve to approach him and strike up a fun conversation. You never know if this could lead to summer love.
2. Aim for someone who you already have a crush on. If you have a friend in mind that you would like to be romantic with, take the plunge and let her know how you feel. You don't have to pour your heart out, but you could simply express interest and ask if she'd like to go miniature golfing.
3. Visit outdoor dance clubs or beach parties. This is a good scene to find a summer love. Many people at the dance club or beach party are single and may be looking for the same thing as you are.
4. Take a vacation by yourself to another country and be sure to put yourself out there. Try a nice summer vacation to Italy or France, and look there for a summer love.
5. Ask friends or coworkers to set you up on blind dates all summer long until you find someone who you are compatible with. Make it a goal to plan one date a week until you find your summer love.
