Transfer video directly to your iPod via computer and Internet with a conversion website, or skip the connection and use an iLoad.     Transfer Using Computer and Internet

  1. Step 1

    Select a video you want to transfer to your iPod. You first must secure the legal right to download the video for personal use.

  2. Step 2

    Go to a free file conversion website that supports video conversion to iPod format, like Zamzar.

  3. Step 3

    Enter the web address of your chosen video into the URL field on the Zamzar home page.

  4. Step 4

    Select "iPod" to convert the Internet video to iPod format.

  5. Step 5

    Enter your e-mail address in the required field on the Zamzar home page.

  6. Step 6

    Click "Submit."

  7. Step 7

    Connect your iPod to the computer with a USB cable.

    Transfer the iPod format video by saving it to your iPod.
