In the Sims 2 Seasons, Sims have the ability to experience hot and cold. If a Sims partakes in certain activities for too long in cold weather, he can freeze. If you want to freeze your Sim, follow these steps.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Edit your neighborhood weather settings to allow for at least one winter season. This can be changed on your neighborhood screen by clicking on the flower icon in the upper left corner of the screen. Make sure a snowflake appears in at least one of the quadrants on the season chooser.

  2. Step 2

Wait until winter. You'll be able to tell what season it is by looking at the control panel in the lower right corner of your screen. A meter will point to icons that represent seasons, with a snowflake representing winter.

  3. Step 3

Direct your Sim to go outside to participate in snow-related activities when it is snowing. Building a snowman, making snow angels and having a snowball fight are activities in which your Sim can participate for a long time.

  4. Step 4

Keep your Sim outside, even as she begins to get uncomfortable. She will begin shivering and complaining about being cold, but make sure she stays outside. Once she gets too cold, she will freeze.

  5. Step 5

Have another Sim use the "Warm up" interaction on your Sim if you want to unfreeze her. If you don't, your Sim will thaw on her own in a few hours.

Tips & Warnings
  • Streaking and having a water balloon fight are other activities your Sim can do outside to get cold.
  • If your Sim's hunger is low when he is frozen, he could freeze to death.
