You're listening to a good song on the radio and you want to add it to your collection so you can listen to it on your iPod. Now comes the choice of whether to buy the entire CD at the store or just the one song from iTunes.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Open iTunes on your computer and click on "iTunes Store" on the left column. In the upper right corner, search for either the title of the song, the album that contains the song or the artist's name.

  2. Step 2

Browse through the entire album to see if there are more songs that you'd like to purchase. To get into the album, click on the arrow underneath the "Album" category. If you purchase only one song now but later decide to purchase the entire album, you'll receive a credit for the song you bought.

  3. Step 3

Listen to the 30-second clip of the song. Because different songs have the same name, you want to make sure you're purchasing the correct song.

  4. Step 4

Click on "Buy Song" and log into your iTunes account. After your song downloads, connect your iPod to your computer to sync it with iTunes so you can listen to your new song on your iPod. You can listen to your new song by locating it in "Music" and pressing "Play" in iTunes.
