Basically, this skateboard trick is a fakie pivot to a shuvit. With a bit of practice and patience, you can perform the fakie late FS bigspin like nobody's business. Once you've got it down, add your favorite moves to the mix and make the trick your own.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Cruise at a decent speed while riding fakie (see related eHow article).
Step2
Place your front foot behind the bolts and put your back foot on the tail.
Step3
Roll forward for a bit, then push your tail down to the ground and roll back (the fakie pivot).
Step4
Do a pop shuvit next (see related eHow article).
Step5
Practice doing them in sequence on a flat surface, then move to a ramp to amp up your skills.

Tips & Warnings

  • It's helpful to practice doing a manual to shuvit before going into this trick. This move helps you to learn to keep your balance.
  • Make sure you have each of the basic moves down before you start putting them all together for the fakie late FS bigspin.
  • Do it on carpet when first practicing; carpet is a lot softer to land on when you fall.
  • Be aware of the movements of your feet and make sure you don't land on the tail or the nose. If you do, you can fall backward and bruise your behind.
