Balance personal preferences and decorating needs by arranging the mirrors in your bedroom. Consider if mirrors need to serve a functional purpose or merely act as a decorative accent. Break decorating rules if necessary. After all, it is your room.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

Select the back of your closet or bedroom door for a full length mirror, especially if you are short on space. Leave enough room in front of the mirror to stand and view yourself. Sit in front of dresser or tabletop mirrors if you intend to use either for makeup application. See if a wall or table mirror provides the view you require.

  2. Step 2

Decide if you want to see yourself reflected in mirrors while you're in bed. Ask a friend or family member to hold your mirror before permanently affixing it to your wall. Lie down on your bed and check for your reflection before making a final decision.

  3. Step 3

Find an attractive picture or corner of your room. Place a bedroom mirror in a position to reflect this view. Wait to see the impact of sunlight if you choose a window as your focal point. Make sure the sunlight is not glaring or too bright for your bedroom decor.

  4. Step 4

Place framed mirrors on night stands or dressers to add style to your bedroom decor. Look for standing art deco mirrors for an eye-catching focal point in your room. Arrange an interesting personal display for the mirror to reflect.
