Things You'll Need:
- Tackle box
- Small beading boxes
- Zip-lock baggies
- Towel
-
Step 1
Find a large tackle box in which you can place a variety of smaller objects. Tackle boxes are perfect for traveling with wire jewelry, as they are equipped with small compartments, are lightweight and have convenient handles.
-
Step 2
Select a variety of smaller beading boxes with small, separate compartments. The smaller boxes can be used to keep your beads, clasps, hooks and other small objects separated. You might choose to keep beads in one small box and clasps, hooks and other miscellaneous items in another.
-
Step 3
Place your small beading boxes into your tackle box and add larger items such as your pliers, wire cutters, wire and other items. You may also want to take along some zip-lock baggies in various sizes to safely keep your works in progress.
-
Step 4
Travel with a towel and use it to cover your working surface as you work on your wire jewelry. The towel may prevent your beads from getting lost. Pack everything together, making sure that the locks on all of your boxes are tightly secured, and you are ready for jewelry making on the go.
