Things You'll Need:
- Coriander leaves
- 1/2 tsp. garam masala
- Fresh ginger
-
Step 1
Take a handful of coriander leaves and roll them up to make a compacted pile. Chop finely until you have enough to stir into the finished masala. Take another smaller handful of leaves and chop the stalks off but leave the leaves intact to retain their appearance for the garnish.
-
Step 2
Check the consistency of the paneer masala to ensure that it is cooked all the way through. Add the chopped leaves and 1/2 tsp. of garam masala spice to the pan. Combine all the ingredients together over the heat and cook for a few moments, moving the pan until everything is heated.
-
Step 3
Take the pan off the heat and spoon the paneer onto a plate. Take a few lengths of ginger and sprinkle over the masala. Take the remaining coriander leaves and center them in a small pile on the center of the dish to complete the garnish.
-
Step 4
Serve immediately by itself or with hot parathas or roti. Paneer masala is a great dish for serving when you have many people to feed because the many ingredients make it very filling and the spices are a perfect complement to Indian flatbreads.
