Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Serving plate
  • Kitchen scissors
  • Serving spoon
  • 2 waffles
  • Fresh, frozen or canned fruit
  • Whipped cream
  • Walnuts, almonds or choice of fruit
  1. Step 1

Place the warm waffles on your serving plate. Let the waffles cool just enough to handle them. Cut around the waffle edges to create uniformity and a smooth, round finish.

  2. Step 2

Spoon a generous amount of whipped cream over the first waffle. Allow the whipped cream to ooze evenly over the waffle edges.

  3. Step 3

Add your choice of fresh, frozen or slightly drained canned fruit.

  4. Step 4

Continue layering by placing the second waffle on top of the fruit. Invert the order for the top layer.

  5. Step 5

Top off your waffle with walnuts, almonds or choice of fruit.

Tips & Warnings
  • To bring out the natural juices in fresh fruit, add a little sugar to your fruit and set aside for 1 hour before using.
  • Substitute the whipped cream with yogurt for a lite version.
