Some say that ordering jeans online can be a pain in the rear, but with a little know-how you can have brand new jeans sent directly to your home with just a few clicks of a mouse. With a few key tips, online ordering is hassle free and super convenient.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Choose your retailer wisely. You can order just about anything online these days, but that is no guarantee of quality. Be a smart shopper and order from trusted websites. Check the privacy, security and return policies before you buy to make sure it's a wise decision.

  2. Step 2

Measure yourself in advance so that you can accurate use the websites sizing chart to determine your size. Measure your waist, hips and inseam and then match it up to the jeans sizing chart.

  3. Step 3

Select your jeans. When you find the pair you want, click on them and then select the size, color, and quantity that you want. Then, simply click to add to your shopping cart. The website should redirect you to the page displaying your shopping cart. If you are done shopping, click the "proceed to checkout" button to finalize your purchase.

  4. Step 4

Proceed to the checkout. This series of pages will guide you through the checkout process. Be sure that you have your shipping and billing information, as well as a valid credit card to make your purchase. A "secure purchase" icon, which usually looks like a padlock, should appear in the bottom right corner of your web browser as you checkout. If you don't see one, you may not want to place an order with this company.

  5. Step 5

Calculate the shipping and handling, as well as any taxes. Choose your shipping method, and then enter your shipping address. You may need to register your name, address, and email address with the website to complete your checkout. Just follow the prompts and fill in the necessary information. Be sure to write down any new usernames or passwords.

  6. Step 6

Review your cart. Check to make sure that all of the information is correct before you submit your order. Once you hit the "submit" button, you can't stop the order from being processed and canceling an order once it is made is a hassle that involves calling the company and your bank to remove the transaction. Keep a receipt or confirmation number for your records.
