Mineral makeup is great for the skin and easy to apply. With a few brushes and the right color palette, you can look like you had your makeup done by a professional. If you're new to the world of mineral makeup and want to get flawless skin, you need to learn to apply mineral makeup translucent powder. This helps set your makeup and gives you a flawless finish.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Apply the base foundation color first. Translucent powder doesn't hide imperfections, so it's important to apply a base coat of mineral foundation to get your skin looking its best. The translucent powder dusting helps complete the look by giving you a matte finish that lasts throughout the day.

  2. Step 2

Remember that a little goes a long way. One of the great things about mineral makeup is that it doesn't take a lot to make you look great. Tap a small amount of your mineral makeup about the size of a nickel into the cap, and dab a kabuki brush into the cap to coat it. Then gently tap the side of the brush to remove any excess before applying.

  3. Step 3

Use a circular motion. With the kabuki brush, lightly dust your face with the translucent powder. This helps prevent shine and set the foundation so that it lasts longer. You won't need to reload the brush, and you should get quite a bit of use out of that one dab of powder.
