If you keep your makeup simple by day, evening makeup is a great opportunity for you to use those fun products rattling around in your drawer. Evening makeup has three basic components: glowing skin, smoky eyes and shiny, sexy lips. Learn how to make your eyebrows a fitting frame for your gorgeous eyes.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Eyebrow makeup
  • Makeup sponge
  • Cotton swabs
  • Eyebrow brush
  • Clear mascara
  1. Step 1

Consider your eyebrow color. If your brows are blonde, use a light taupe pencil, cream or powder. If your eyebrows are black, stick to dark brown or black makeup. Generally, your brows should match your hair, but some fair-haired girls like to make their eyebrows more dramatic for evening.

  2. Step 2

Follow your natural eyebrow shape, for the most part. Use your powder, cream or pencil to fill in any places where your skin shows through your eyebrows. If your brows are on the skimpy side, you can thicken them with eyebrow product.

  3. Step 3

Clean up the area around your brows with a makeup sponge or brush if your cream, pencil or powder has gone astray. If you use a powder makeup to fill in your eyebrows, run a cotton swab under each eye to catch any powder that's fallen under your eyes.

  4. Step 4

Brush your eyebrows with an eyebrow brush or clean mascara wand after you finish filling in your brows. Seal them with a bit of clear mascara or a spritz of hairspray on your eyebrow brush. Now you're ready to finish your face with lipstick.
