A treble is made up of a hop and a shuffle, but done at a rapid rate of speed so it sounds far more difficult than it is. That's not to say the step is not difficult—it takes a little work to get the timing and the rhythm down. Once you get it down, you will be able to add a nice rhythm to any combo.

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Start the treble in tap dancing with your feet together.

  2. Step 2

Lift your right foot so your foot is off the ground.

  3. Step 3

    Hop with your left foot.

  4. Step 4

Shuffle with your right foot and bring your right foot quickly off the ground.

  5. Step 5

Work on getting the treble's distinctive beat when you are tap dancing: "one-two-three, one-two-three, one-two-three."

  6. Step 6

Alternate by hopping with your right foot and shuffling with your left.

  7. Step 7

Do the treble in tap dancing slowly at first, working on making each sound distinct. Gradually add more and more speed until you are able to do it fairly quickly. Soon, with practice, you should be able to do the treble in tap dancing so it sounds like the wheels of a train.
