A finger puppet is a fun way to entertain children and parents can make Valentine's Day finger puppets with their kids. Making Valentine's Day finger puppets is a simple task if one has a few simple craft items, a little imagination and the following steps.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pink and red construction paper
  • Crafting scissors
  • Craft glue
  • Marker
  • Knife
  • Googly eyes
  • Heart-shaped foam piece
  1. Step 1

    Gather all needed crafting materials.

  2. Step 2

Cut one piece each of red and pink construction paper in half.

  3. Step 3

Draw a heart on one of the half pieces of construction paper. Cut this heart out with crafting scissors.

  4. Step 4

Take another half piece of construction paper, in a different color, and draw another heart on it. Be sure this other heart is a little bit smaller that the first heart. Cut this slightly smaller heart out using the same pair of crafting scissors.

  5. Step 5

Glue the slightly smaller heart into the larger heart using craft glue. Allow the glue to dry thoroughly. Apply googly eyes and a nose with double-sided tape as well. The nose can just be a heart-shaped foam piece.

  6. Step 6

Mark the place for the finger holes to go. Use a marker to make either a dot or an "X" as a guide for the knife.

  7. Step 7

Use the knife to cut an "X" or a circle large enough for a child's fingers to fit through. Open up the "X" if necessary to allow the child's fingers to fit into the Valentine's Day finger puppet.
