Lebron James makes the incredible seem effortless as he slams down dunks or throws no-look passes to open teammates. His court vision allows him to see plays unfold before anyone else does, giving him an edge over his opponents. This vision comes from instinct and practice.

Instructions

Difficulty: Challenging

Step1
Square up to the basket every time you receive the basketball in space. Every time James receives a pass out there he squares his shoulders to the basket. This allows his to see the entire court on a given play and offers a clear view of the entire defense.
Step2
Study your teammates and the opposing defense. James understands that despite his physical abilities, he must understand the tendencies of his teammates and the opposing defense so that he can anticipate what will happen on a given play and react appropriately.
Step3
Keep your head up the entire time you are on the court. The minute a player loses vision of the court, something negative is likely to happen. James keeps his head up and his eyes are constantly scanning the court for open players or driving lanes to the basket.
Step4
Use the basketball to distract the opponent. James's excellent court vision lets him "fake" to his team's advantage. He will see a play developing, and then use a pass or shot fake to set up the perfect pass to an open teammate.
