How to Drive Like Tony Stewart

Tony Stewart has quickly become a fan favorite in NASCAR because of his take-no-prisoners driving style and personality to match. He may annoy some people on and off the track, but his style at the wheel has won multiple championships and produced a sea of orange in the stands.

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Drive to win. With the exceptions of Daytona and the Brickyard, many NASCAR drivers focus on simply getting a top 10 finish for points in the standings. To drive like Tony, you need to focus on taking the checkered flag at the end.

  2. Step 2

Intimidate other drivers. Tony has no problem riding a guy's bumper. He might not wreck his opponents (at least not on purpose), but he'll at least force them to get out of the way. Follow his lead.

  3. Step 3

Bump draft another driver. Line up bumper to bumper with another car and push it so you both go faster. But don't be afraid to criticize other people if they bump you too hard.

  4. Step 4

Gamble on fuel if you think it will help you win. If you think you've got just enough gas to make it to the end, pass up the last pit stop and go for it. You might come up short, but you might also coast to the finish line.

Tips & Warnings
  • Your attitude should be as aggressive as your driving style. Don't be afraid to criticize any drivers (or officials) for being stupid.
  • Climbing a fence is a good way to celebrate a win, especially one that leads to the flag stand where you can get your checkered victory flag.
