If your computer is randomly rebooting I have a couple things you can check.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A broken PC
  1. Step 1

First if just recently added a new option card or device try removing that to see if it stops rebooting.

  2. Step 2

Next clean out all your fans in the power supply and the fans inside your case. Use a can of compressed air. A vacuum works but it doesn't do a good job. Check that all your cables and cards are secure while you have the case open. Push down on all connections, they shouldn't move.

  3. Step 3

Scan your computer for a virus. You can use a free scan tool at http://housecall.trendmicro.com
