How to Not Be Annoying With Friends
Although good friends will overlook your quirky habits, they may tire of the more annoying ones. If you sense that they're merely tolerating you or even starting to avoid you, work to minimize the traits that bother or inconvenience them.

1
Support your friends and listen to their good and bad news. You may earn the reputation of a drama queen if you continually talk about the crises and setbacks in your life or an egomaniac if you always boast about your accomplishments. Realize that it isn't always all about you.
-
2
Be sure it's really okay if you borrow five more dollars, that new compact disc or another pencil from your friends. Although you think it's just a little "sharing" among friends, determine if they borrow an equal number of things from you or if you're the one doing all the "mooching."

3
Let your friends have peace and quiet when they're trying to study. Passing notes in class, whispering in the library or sending multiple text messages after school will interrupt their concentration. Wait until they respond to send another email or leave one phone message and patiently wait for them to call you back.
-
4
Arrange your own transportation rather than depending on your friends for rides. If their car is the only way you can get to school, extracurricular activities and the mall, for example, at least pay for gas and take them to lunch for their trouble.
-
5
Give couples time to be alone. Although you're all friends, realize that boyfriends and girlfriends need time away from the group and would rather not have you tagging along on every date.

Tips & Warnings
Tell one of your best friends to nudge you if you're doing something to annoy other people. This will help if you simply don't realize when you're invading someone's personal space or notice how loud you're laughing in class.
