Cuticle oil should be massaged into your cuticles after completing your manicure. Proper use of cuticle once a week leads to healthy well manicured cuticles. Cuticle oil is sold commercially in many different scents using a combination of various oils. Experiment with some oil combinations and make your own cuticle oil for a lot less money.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Choose your oils. Pick either 2 or 3 oils and mix them together in equal parts. The best oils for use in cuticle oil include jojoba, rice bran, olive, lavender, almond, grapeseed and vitamin e oil. Pour equal parts of each oil into a jar.

  2. Step 2

Scent your cuticle oil naturally. Use a little almond, lemon or orange oil for scent.

Close the jar securely and shake the contents vigorously to mix.

  4. Step 4

Massage a small amount of cuticle oil into each cuticle after grooming your cuticles and completing your manicure.

  5. Step 5

Tips & Warnings
