1. Stick cool pins on your book bag to make it look cool. Whether you are into emo music, anime or the latest movies, there are plenty of pins to choose from. Search around the next time you are at the mall r an accessories store.

2. Find iron on patches to put on your book bag. The iron on kind are the easiest to work with and they are perfect for most canvas or cloth bags. Find ones that have pretty flowers or smiley faces on them, and make your book bag look cool.

3. Put a little bling on your book bag to make it look very girly. There are plenty of crystals and beads in most hobby stores that can be glued or sewn onto any fabric for a cool look. You can spell out your initials in crystals.

4. Make friendship bracelets for yourself and your friends, and you can attach them to the zipper of your book bag. This shows a kinship with you and your friends, and it is very cool looking.

5. Use your favorite bumper stickers to decorate your book bag. They can be found for any taste or philosophy, and some are very funny. Just make sure you are putting appropriate sayings on your bag so you don't get in trouble.

6. Paint your canvas or cloth book bag to make it look cool. If you have an artistic flair, you can use spray paint, with a parent's help, or you can use thicker, brush on paints to add color or a picture to your book bag.
