Things You'll Need:
- Cauldron or similar container
- Baking soda
- Water
- Vinegar
- Cup
- Tablespoon
- Baking pan or a tray

Step 1
Assemble the base materials for the potion. Find a cauldron or similar container, baking soda, water, vinegar, a cup, a tablespoon and a baking pan or a tray that is easily to clean.

Gather extra potion ingredients like food coloring, glitter, cornstarch, brown and icing sugar, small candies, coffee grinds, bread crumbs, rice and medicine droppers.

Place the cauldron or container on top of the pan or tray.

Put 2 tbs. of water and 1 tbs. of baking soda into the cauldron or container. Place 2 tbs. vinegar into the cup and pour all of the vinegar into the caldron until you see the potion bubble.

Add your extra ingredients. Put a few drops of food coloring and a few pinches of glitter to change the potion's look. Place any of the food ingredients into the potion to change the potion's texture. Experiment with specific measurements by using the medicine dropper.

Let children add their own ingredients to come up with different types of potions.
