If you would like to pretend you are David waging war on Goliath, you can. Follow these steps to make a very simple version of David's weapon and fire missiles from it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Find some rubber bands, the stronger the better.
Step2
Collect some paper, such as card stock or index cards. Paper with a little bit of heft will work best.
Step3
Cut the paper into a 5-inch-by-5-inch square. Cut the small square on the diagonal so that you have two triangles. These will be your simple missiles. You may keep it as is, or cut it again.
Step4
Loop the rubber band over your pointer finger and thumb, then set the triangle against the inside of the rubber band.
Step5
Stretch the rubber band back with your other hand, holding the triangle in place as you do so. Aim your very simple missile at your intended target and let it fly.
Step6
Use sense when you fire your very simple missile. The paper can hurt when fired at a person. Use it to fight apples, wage war on bottles or frighten plastic cups.
