Create your own bitmap images and use these to make your PowerPoint presentation. These special images will make your PowerPoint presentation unique and themed towards your presentation. Make the image larger to fit your background space or smaller to tuck neatly into less space. Change the color or add words to make your image stand out in your PowerPoint presentation.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Create your bitmap image using Microsoft Paint or access another bitmap image already created.
Step2
Adjust your bitmap image using Microsoft Paint by selecting "Image" and picking "Stretch/Skew" from the drop-down box. This will allow you to adjust your stretch by percentages.
Step3
Click on "File" and "Save As" to save as a ".bmp" extension file. Choose the file name and location.
Step4
Open your PowerPoint application and navigate to the page where you want to place your bitmap image.
Step5
Make a text box by clicking on a spot on your background page and dragging your mouse across the page to the size of box you desire.
Step6
Choose the "File" menu, then "Insert" from the drop-down box and "Picture" to open a new options window. Browse to the bitmap image you want to place on your PowerPoint presentation background. Select "OK" to paste the image on your page.
