How to Hook an Ipod to a Car Stereo With a Griffin Itrip
An iTrip is a small FM radio transmitter that sends music from your iPod to your car stereo. It uses unused radio channels and is a great way to listen to an iPod in a car without the mess of wires. Here is how to use it.

Play your iPod as you normally would. The iTrip will turn on when the music begins and turn off when the music ends. The iTrip has no batteries; it uses power from your iPod.

Tips & Warnings
The iTrip can broadcast music in either stereo or mono. Choose "LX" for mono, which produces a cleaner, crisper sound, or "DX" for stereo. Select "LX" or "DX" by holding the iTrip's frequency selector down for 5 seconds.
The iTrip will regulate the volume of the music it sends to your radio so you can control the volume from the stereo. To begin with, set your iPod's volume to its maximum. Turn it down if the music sounds distorted.
Itrip will play your iPod's music through any radio, not just your car stereo.
