1. Find out what type of music your punk boyfriend likes best--pop punk, old school, hardcore, indie or something else. Music is always a great idea for someone who loves it. Look at his music collection to find out what he already has and what he might want.

2. Buy tickets to a punk rock concert. Give him two tickets for both of you to go or to send him off with one of his friends.

3. Consider posters, instrument accessories or a subscription to Alternative Press or The Onion. Get your punk boyfriend something he'll actually use--he's not the type to have things around that are not necessary.

4. Find a couple of music band T-shirts that fit his style. Make sure to get the right size and let him know he can exchange it if he wants.
