Things You’ll Need:
- Black beans and refried beans
- Cumin
- Hot or mild salsa
- Minced garlic
- A medium pot
- A non-stick skillet
- Tortillas
- Chopped olives
- Sliced avocado
- Shredded cheese
- Chopped lettuce
- Chopped tomato
Step1
Mix together black beans, refried beans, cumin, salsa and garlic in a medium pot and set on stove burner.
Step2
Turn the stove burner on to a low heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir the bean mixture occasionally until cooked.
Step3
Place a tortilla in a non-stick skillet and set on stove burner. Turn the stove burner on to a medium heat and warm the tortilla.
Step4
Take part of the bean mixture, chopped olives, sliced avocados and shredded cheese and place on half of the tortilla, then fold the other half of the tortilla over the mixture. Grill the tortilla 10 to 15 minutes until brown, then flip tortilla over and brown the other side.
Step5
Remove the grilled tortilla from the non-stick skillet, and open the tortilla up, then add the lettuce and the tomatoes. More salsa could be added now if desired.
